Match a market relevant topic to your product (ie the solution)
Quick example of this: A recent email we sent for our client – the second of three emails we’re running for their Father’s Day promotion.
Instead of a generic “get your father’s day gift here!!!” approach, we went a little deeper.
Our copywriter found a market relevant study that matched the product our client is selling.
In this case, it was a study about how a man’s brain physically changes once he becomes a Dad.
The email references the research paper and then segues into the fact that our product can help Dad keep switched on, maintain a balanced mood, and ensure that he isn’t losing focus all the time.
This email is music to the ears of someone looking to get their Dad (or husband) a unique gift for the occasion in question (Father’s Day)
If you go just a little bit deeper and match a market relevant topic to the solution that your product can help provide – you’ll get a lot more bites on your sales content.
Do this as much as you can, and you’ll be laughing to the bank.
